(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell man faces charges in the death of his wife.
Authorities believe 30-year-old Marty Seavers smothered his wife of one year during a fight Saturday.
Seavers pleaded not guilty to a charge of voluntary manslaughter during his initial hearing this week.
48-year-old Beverly Seavers was found dead on the couple's bed with a white pillow covering her upper body.
