(VALLONIA) - A Vallonia man has been arrested for operating an indoor marijuana cultivation operation.
Members of the Indiana State Police Marijuana Eradication/Suppression Unit, Jackson County Sheriff's Department and officers from the Seymour Police Department went to the home of 25-year-old James Ty Wheeler and served a search warrant.
Once inside, police found an indoor marijuana cultivation operation. Marijuana plants, heat lamps, fertilizers, drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine was also found.
Wheeler was taken to the Jackson County Jail without incident. Wheeler could spend up to 3 years in jail and pay a $10,000 fine.
Wheeler is awaiting his first court appearance.
