(BEDFORD) - Three youths were arrested by Bedford police on theft charges after they were seen attempting to take items from Kirlins’ Hallmark on James Avenue in Bedford.
Employees called police saying they were watching three teens trying to steal Ty Beanie Baby and Pluffy Frog items.
When police arrived they questioned the two 17-year-old girls and the one 18-year-old boy and found they had allegedly stolen about $20 worth of items.
All three were charged with theft. The girls were handed over to their parents with a promise to appear in court; the boy was taken to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond arraignment.
