(CRANE) - Fortune 500 defense contractor Science Applications International has broken ground at the Westgate at Crane Technology Park on a new four-million dollar facility, which is expected to create up to 75 new jobs.
Governor Mitch Daniels joined executives of Westgate at Crane development company to also break ground on a new business incubator and accelerator building.
Westgate partner Dale Ankrom says the company is close to signing deals with three tenants for the building. Ankrom says his company thinks there could be up to 30 new buildings added to the park over the next three years.
Ankrom says a 35-million dollar investment by Westgate will bring other development to the park, including a hotel, retail shops and walking trails.
