(BEDFORD) - What started out as a possible domestic dispute, ended up with a Bedford resident arrested for drug and alcohol possession.
Bedford police were called by the Bedford Regional Medical Center to the emergency room to a report of a possible squabble between and young man and his female acquaintance. After some questioning, the woman apparently had only been involved in a moped accident.
Meanwhile, officers went to her "M" Street address and discovered a 20-year-old man was inebriated in the home. Dustin Slate was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Police took Slate to the Lawrence County Jail on charges of possession of marijuana under 30 grams, illegal consumption and a minor in possession of alcohol.
