(BEDFORD) - The man who is accused of murdering his live-in companion has been confirmed incompetent to stand trial.
70-year-old John C. Reynolds, is accused of stabbing to death 67-year-old Arminta Sue Magner at his Woods housing addition home north of Bedford.
He apparently suffers from terminal brain cancer. Two medical doctors met with Reynolds to determine his condition. Judge Michael Robbins also agrees with the findings and ruled Reynolds would not be able to stand trial.
Reynolds has been incarcerated in the Lawrence County Security Center since the incident a little over a month ago. He will soon be under the care of the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction.
