(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Police will be gunning for drunks over Labor Day weekend.
According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration statistics, Indiana experienced a 3% decrease in the number of accidents involving legally impaired drivers last year. To keep up the success, Indiana State Troopers will be out in force looking for drunk drivers as part of their Over the Limit, Under Arrest program in full swing right now.
In addition to drunk drivers, troopers will also be looking for speeders, tailgaters, seat belt violations and aggressive drivers.
Labor Day weekend starts this coming Friday, and the state police encourage all drivers to follow the rules of the road and drive safely.
