(ROLAND) - A West Baden woman was injured in a motorcycle accident halfway between Shoals and West Baden over the weekend.
62-year-old Carole Reynolds was driving down a county road hill, went around a curb at a high rate of speed, and drove of the road striking an earthen embankment. Reynolds was thrown from her motorcycle injuring her leg and back.
The Martin County EMS took Reynolds to Dunn Memorial Hospital to treat her wounds.
Reynolds was cited for speed too fast for road conditions and no motorcycle endorsement. She was not wearing her motorcycle helmet during the accident.
