(JASPER) - A head-on motorcycle accident left one injured in Jasper last night.
According to Indiana State Police, 51-year-old Alan Rothrock of Dubois entered 3rd St. heading north in the southbound lanes on his Honda motorcycle. He noticed 55-year-old David Schroeder of Jasper heading straight for him and tried to move out of the way, but ended up swerving the same way Schroeder did and hit him head on.
Rothrock was thrown from the bike, possibly broke his leg and suffered multiple lacerations. Schroeder was uninjured; Rothrock was taken to Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
State police are still investigating the accident.
