(CORYDON) - Three men were injured in a horse-riding accident at O’Bannon Woods State Park in Corydon Sunday.
Louis Sipes, Joshua Summers and Brock Williams, all in their early twenties and from Washington, IN, sustained injuries when, according to Indiana Conservation officers, their horses collided while the three were allegedly racing them at 3:30AM.
Brock Williams was treated on the scene for his injuries and arrested for public intoxication, Summers and Sipes were treated at University of Louisville Hospital and released.
One of the horses suffered a broken neck and had to be euthanized.
No criminal charges are pending against Sipes or Summers, however, all three men have been banned from Indiana DNR run parks for one year.
