(BEDFORD) - The Subway on 16th St. in Bedford was broken into last night.
The manager from the nearby Burger King called 911 and told Bedford police he saw someone suspicious in the Subway restaurant.
Bedford police arrived at the sandwich shop and saw the front window had been broken out. The owners were contacted and indicated the front cash drawer was missing along with a small safe.
The amount of money involved was unavailable at time of reporting. The Lawrence County sheriff's department log noted the subject may be driving a blue or silver eighties Oldsmobile.
Bedford police are investigating the incident.
