(BLOOMINGTON) - A 21-year-old Bloomington man was arrested on suspicion of theft.
Michael Eugene Starks was seen by a patrolling Bloomington police cruiser wearing dark clothes and crouching behind a vehicle near Bloomington Auto Center.
Bloomington police allege when Starks noticed he had been spotted, he started running. Officers caught up to him in the nearby woods and say they found 3 car stereos in his backpack.
When police returned to the Bloomington Auto Center, they found 3 vehicles that had been broken into and were missing stereos.
