(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Five anti-domestic violence efforts in Indiana will split $1.6 million in US Justice Department grants.
Nearly half the money will go to Indianapolis to help it coordinate efforts between law enforcement and community organizations. Another $360,000 goes to Madison county and the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence for the same purpose.
The rest goes to the Salvation Army in Indianapolis and the Columbus Office of Legal Aid to help victims of domestic abuse.
