(GREENE COUNTY) - A semi rolled over on SR-58 in Greene County yesterday afternoon after trying to avoid an unloading school bus.
Bloomfield school superintendent Dan Sichting released a statement saying a school bus under contract was unloading students on eastbound 58 with two cars stopped in the westbound lanes.
The semi approached the stopped cars too hot and couldn't slow down enough to stop. The semi tried to pass the cars by on the north shoulder of the road and ended up overturning.
Fortunately, nobody was injured, including the driver, and the school bus was able to transport the remaining students home.
