(JACKSON COUNTY) - Indiana State Police in Seymour are on the hunt for a motorcyclist that evaded them outside of Ripley County.
State police Sgt. Don Gregory released information saying early yesterday morning; state troopers received a 911 call of 4 motorcycles flying down Interstate 65 near Columbus, IN.
Troopers found the bikes in question and clocked them going 95mph. After the trooper turned his lights on, the bikes gunned it to more than 125mph.
The pursuit continued south on I-65 into Scott County where 3 of the bikers stopped. The fourth went through the median and back north on I-65, getting off at US-50 shooting east through North Vernon and through Ripley County where troopers lost sight.
The three who stopped, 28-year-old Demarkest Ikner, 31-year-old Keith Gates and 34-year-old Victor Smith, all of Kentucky, were all charged with felony counts of resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness and a misdemeanor count of reckless driving.
State troopers are still hunting for the fourth man.
