(BEDFORD) - A Heltonville man is in custody after causing 2 accidents in 2 counties.
Lawrence County sheriffs say Roger Parrish of Heltonville allegedly rear ended Bedford resident Steve Harden on SR-446 last night, and then took off.
Harden called police to report the accident and the departure of the other car, and the fact that both he and one of his passengers, Zac Harden, were complaining of neck pain. His other passenger, Gram Ormiston, said he had bit his tongue.
According to the Lawrence County report, Parrish continued north into Monroe County where he was involved in another accident.
Monroe County, as a result, has charges filed against Parrish.
