(UNDATED) - Check your calendar but don’t believe it. Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Nov. 4, not this weekend, as many calendars may say.
The confusion is caused because 2007 is the first year that daylight saving time was extended by the federal government. It now stretches from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, rather than the traditional last Sunday in October.
The extension is an effort to save energy. .
