(DUBOIS COUNTY) - Law enforcement agencies in Dubois County cleaned house after a year long investigation into drug violations.
Officers from Jasper, Huntingburg, Holland, Dubois County, and state police Jasper locked and loaded up their 43 arrest warrants, and hit the streets.
The raid began at about 5:00AM yesterday morning and rounded up 19 suspects, 18 of which were taken to Dubois County jail, one was already housed in Crawford County jail on unrelated charges.
Suspects were rounded up from Jasper, Huntingburg, Shoals, Birdseye and Holland on charges ranging from the simple possession of marijuana, to more serious felony charges of dealing schedule 3 substances within 1,000 feet of a school.
In all, 40 felony charges and 3 misdemeanor charges were filed against 24 people.
Officers remain on the lookout for the 5 who are still at large.
