(WASHINGTON) - Indiana state police nailed 4 people in Washington for drug related charges that involved one juvenile.
According to a state report, state troopers entered a home on Meridian Street in Washington in an attempt to locate a suspect in another crime, when they noticed the smell of burnt marijuana in the residence.
State troopers, Daviess County Sheriff's deputies and Washington police conducted a search finding a small amount of marijuana, paraphernalia, and a juvenile who was released to the custody of child services.
41-year-old Johanna Ward of Washington was charged with felony counts of maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent, and a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.
50-year-old Michael Bales and 44-year-old James Franklin, both of Indianapolis, and 33-year-old Karl Bowling of Montgomery were all rung up on misdemeanor charges of visiting a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.
