(WORTHINGTON) - A southern Indiana man is dead following an accident with a horse Sunday night.
The Greene County sheriff's department says 61-year-old Don Clements was driving his SUV and was unable to avoid hitting a horse that was standing in the middle of the road.
The impact sent the horse airborne, and it struck the driver's side wind-shield. The horse then traveled over the SUV and landed behind the vehicle.
Clements was killed. The horse also died.
