Last updated on Monday, October 22, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS) - State police from both Seymour and Indianapolis released a report Saturday saying they arrested a man in Indianapolis for warrants outstanding in Jennings, Scott and Shelby Counties.

40-year-old Martin L. Johnson of Indianapolis had warrants outstanding for a number of drug charges, including dealing and possessing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, being a habitual substance abuse offender and resisting arrest by fleeing.

Troopers conducted a surveillance operation over 2 days in Indianapolis on a place suspected to be where Johnson was staying. After confirming, troopers served a search warrant, found Johnson, another man, 41-year-old David L. Bell, as well as some marijuana and paraphernalia.

Johnson and bell are both facing additional Marion County charges for the marijuana, and Bell is also facing charges for violating his probation.
