(BEDFORD) - The Johnny Hall-Mar station on Lincoln Avenue in Bedford has been knocked over for the second time this week.
Shortly before 4:00 yesterday morning, Bedford police responded to a burglary call at the gas station. When they got there, the front window had been broken out, and cigarettes and coins had been stolen.
Early Monday morning, Bedford police responded to a call at the same station with the same type of robbery. The same method of entry was employed, and the same material, cigarettes and coins, were stolen.
Bedford police are still investigating both robberies.
More than $2,000 worth of merchandise was stolen in the first burglary; the amount of merchandise stolen in the second burglary has not been disclosed.
