(FRENCH LICK) - Orange County had a much slower election night than Lawrence and Monroe Counties, with only 3 contested races in the entire county, all in French Lick.
Independent Dennis "Jargo" Jones defeated Independent James W. Fouche for the French lick Clerk-Treasurer job.
Independent Donald L. Renner won Town Council Ward 2, defeating 2 challenging Independents and one Democrat.
Town Council Ward 3 went to another Independent, William E. "Bill" Ratliff, who defeated Independent John Henry Harrison.
Ward 1 in the Town of French Lick had no candidate filed.
