(PAOLI) - Orange County Sheriff Richard Dixon has released monthly statistics for the department for the month of October.
Sheriff's deputies drove more than 23,000 miles to help make Orange County safer, but there are a few interesting items in the list.
To start, Sheriff's deputies investigated 35 traffic accidents, but only issued 3 traffic citations for the entire month.
Additionally, the most common crime in Orange County for October was drunk driving, followed by theft, and public intoxication.
