(BLOOMINGTON) - How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Well, being an Indiana University Jacobs School of Music alumnus doesn’t hurt.
3 Jacobs School alumni will be making their Carnegie Hall debut in New York Sunday with the season opener of the New York Youth Symphony.
Conductor Ryan McAdams, solo violinist william Harvey and composer Clint Needham will debut at the famous music hall.
Needham says the rumor about Carnegie Hall is true, saying, "There are a lot of halls that make orchestras sound better, but Carnegie is the only one that makes the music sound better."
