(AUSTIN, IN) - A week-long investigation into drug dealing in Austin, Indiana led to the arrest of 5 Scottsburg people.
Yesterday afternoon, police executed a search warrant at a home in Austin after conducting an investigation into coke dealing, and allegedly retrieved a quarter ounce of cocaine, 20 hydrocodone pills and a little over $1,400 cash.
29-year-old Kevin "Scotty" Noble and 20-year-old Patrick Mantia were both charged with felony counts of dealing and possessing cocaine over 3 grams, and maintaining a common nuisance, and a misdemeanor paraphernalia charge.
27-year-old Tisha Houchens was charged with felony maintaining a common nuisance. Additionally, 2 people linked to an undercover cocaine buy were arrested.
29-year-old Joel Haight and 26-year-old Crystal Kimrey were both charged with a felony count of dealing cocaine over 3 grams.
All 5 people are currently housed in Scott County jail.
