(BEDFORD) - The WBIW listening area finally got it’s first dose of real winter weather overnight.
Though Bedford got less than a tenth of an inch of combined snow and rain, areas north of Lawrence County got more.
Some parts of Bloomington are waking up to between a half inch and an inch of snow on the ground and across their vehicles.
However, the Orange County area snuck by dry last night.
In Bedford there is still a chance of additional snow showers early this morning, but any snow that does show up should turn into rain later on, and that rain won't let up until next week Wednesday.
However, no matter what, in inclement weather strikes, tune to Winter Weather Watchers on WBIW, SuperOldies 105.5. WQRK or Power Hitz Z102 WPHZ for the latest on closings, cancellations and delays.
