(BEDFORD) - Indiana state troopers stopped a vehicle for speeding, and allegedly came away with more than a pound of pot.
According to a report provided by Lawrence County Sheriff's officials, state troopers conducted a routine traffic stop on 42-year-old David Deel of Huron and, when the trooper approached the vehicle, discovered probable cause to search Deel's truck.
The trooper would allegedly go on to find more than a pound of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Deel was taken to the Lawrence County jail charged with a felony charge of possessing more than 30 grams of marijuana, and lesser charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance.
