(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was arrested on a warrant out of Lawrence County, and didn’t want to leave anything behind on his trip to jail, allegedly including his marijuana.
Bedford police were given information that 58-year-old Mark Ray of Bloomington, who had a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear, was in town late Friday night.
When officers arrived at the residence Ray was at, officers informed the owner of the residence why they were there, and took ray into custody.
Ray gathered his belongings to go to the Lawrence County jail and, when officers inspected them, allegedly found a marijuana smoking device and a small baggie of the green stuff itself.
Ray was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
