(BEDFORD) - The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says the WBIW listening area is in for a winter storm this weekend, and has issued a warning stating as much.
A wintry mix is due to start falling tomorrow morning followed by more snow and freezing rain, reportedly coming to a crescendo in the late afternoon to early evening.
As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the listening area including Lawrence, Monroe, Brown, Jackson, Bartholomew and Morgan counties, going all the way up past Indianapolis from Saturday morning lasting until Sunday morning.
Some areas could see as much as 6 inches of snow, though The Weather Channel forecast currently is calling for around an inch in the City of Bedford.
