(BEDFORD) - The Bedford post of the Salvation Army has informed WBIW News of when people who have filled out applications for Christmas presents can retrieve them to put under the tree.
Major Jo Ann Ashcraft says Thursday and Friday, December 20th and 21st, between 10:00am and 2:00pm, people can pick up their gifts.
People whose last names start with A through J can pick up Thursday, and K through Z will be Friday.
The pick up site will be at the storefront next to the Sears on John Williams Boulevard.
Some families have been adopted by local churches and other organizations, and will be notified by phone.
Major Jo Ann asks anyone who can't make those times to try and stop in that Friday afternoon between 2:30 and 3:30, and that anyone not receiving gifts can pick up food vouchers at the army's K Street office Thursday between 1:00 and 3:00.
