(BEDFORD) - Two juveniles were arrested Saturday, one for possession of tobacco, another for a string of charges relating to his alleged breaking into a neighbor’s vehicle.
Bedford police allege a 14-year-old boy violated his house arrest when he allegedly broke into the vehicle of a neighbor and stole a Sony camcorder.
The neighbor reportedly spotted him and called police. Police made contact with the young man and say they found the camcorder on his person.
They also allegedly found tobacco and Adderall, a Schedule II controlled mix of amphetamine salts commonly used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy.
The 14-year-old was charged with theft, possession of stolen property, illegal entry of a motor vehicle, violation of house arrest, possession of a schedule ii controlled substance, and minor possession of tobacco.
His 16-year-old companion was cited for minor possession of tobacco and released to his parents.
