(UNDATED) - If you don’t like the weather in Indiana, just wait a few days and it’s almost promised to change.
While Wednesday was bone-chilling complete with a wind chill advisory, the weather pattern is expected to shift within 4 days bringing more spring-like conditions with a high of 50 degrees.
Crystal Petit with the National Weather Service says a very strong cold front combined with the snow and ice on the ground created the extreme temperatures for Wednesday and today. But, winds from the Gulf of Mexico will bring temperatures up through the weekend with a high 51 expected for Sunday.
Petit says the warmer temps will probably stay with us through the first few days of next week, but just like the cold don't expect it to last. After all, it is still winter.
