(UNDATED) - A flood warning continues for portions of the White River through the weekend.
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has said flooding along the White River has ended in the Muncie and Anderson areas, but will reach flood peaks near Noblesville, Nora and Ravenswood by tomorrow evening.
The East Fork of the White River came close to cresting banks in Columbus today, and forecasters expect lowland flooding near Seymour to diminish through the weekend.
Flood warnings for the East Fork in Seymour are not expected to end until Tuesday evening.
National Weather Service officials again urge drivers not to cross flood waters, as they can easily be several feet deep, and it only takes about 1 foot of water to float most vehicles.
