(EVANSVILLE) - Vanderburgh County Deputy Coroner Annie Groves says they now know for sure how two Jasper women died.
Autopsies showed 60-year-old Karen Vogler and her 28-year-old daughter Krystal Vogler died from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The bodies were found Monday.
Groves says two rifles were found in the vehicle parked near a field. The guns were bought on Saturday.
Authorities in Jasper found a suicide note left by Krystal Vogler. Investigators are still talking to the women's family to find out why they would do something like this.
Groves says Krystal Vogler had recently suffered a miscarriage which could have made her more depressed than usual.
