(BEDFORD) - Formal charges have been presented against James Cory Collins for the Orange County part of his January 7th crime adventure.
Collins was already being held in the Lawrence County jail on preliminary charges filed by Bedford police, including false reporting of a bomb threat, attempted robbery, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest by fleeing on foot and by vehicle, and other lesser charges.
State troopers from the Jasper post presented a warrant to Collins from his deeds in Paoli, which included charges of attempted burglary, auto theft and habitual offender.
On the 7th, police allege Collins stole a vehicle at Paoli Peaks, rammed a door with it at Williams Brothers Pharmacy in Paoli, stole gas in Mitchell, and tried to steal pills at the CVS Pharmacy in Bedford using a false bomb threat.
