(ORANGE COUNTY) - State troopers in Orange County caught up with a man alleged to have run from police in a high-speed chase early Friday morning in Paoli.
Police arrested 27-year-old Garland Miller of New Albany in Orange County yesterday. According to a police report, a state trooper clocked a red 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier speeding along State Road 56 in Paoli, near the US-150 interchange Friday morning.
The vehicle allegedly refused to stop when the trooper turned his lights on. Later, the trooper would find the vehicle again, and the subject, described only as a white male, allegedly took off running.
That man, now alleged to be Miller, is being held in Orange County jail on 2 preliminary counts of resisting arrest with a vehicle and one county of resisting on foot.
Miller was also found to have outstanding warrants in Clark County for theft and resisting arrest.
