(SPRINGVILLE) - One man is in jail after rolling his SUV with a blood-alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit late last night.
At 10 minutes before midnight, a call came in to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office from a person who said they found a truck lying on its side in the middle of Seibolt Quarry Road near Springville Harrodsburg Road.
When deputies got there, they found 28-year-old Ryan Flynn of Springville in the vehicle. According to the report, after he got out, Flynn told officers he had been "driving too fast," slid into the ditch on the right, hit a tree and flipped the vehicle.
Though he complained of pain in his leg, Flynn refused medical treatment.
The report says during the conversation, deputies determined he had been drinking and issued a breath test. Ultimately, certified results would come back saying Flynn's alcohol content was 0.21%.
Flynn was cited for misdemeanor operating while intoxicated and taken to Lawrence County jail.
