State Police Say Traffic Deaths Down

(SELLERSBURG) - Indiana State Police are reporting a decline in the number of deaths on state roadways for 2007.

The preliminary total for the year is 883, down 19 from 2006.

Police attribute the decline to increased law enforcement, increased seat belt use and safer vehicles.
