(UNDATED) - Two trucks, two cities, one night. State troopers in Jasper are investigating the disappearance of 2 Chevy pickups in Leavenworth and Shoals, which are suspected to have been stolen either late Thursday night or early Friday morning, one of which didn’t even have tires.
In Leavenworth, an old blue 1938 Chevrolet pickup, which was covered in rust and had no license plates or tires, was stolen from a residence along State Road 62.
That same night, unknown suspects pried the door of an office trailer at a used car lot in Shoals open and stole 3 sets of keys, making off with one truck, a white 1998 Chevrolet pickup with a small lift kit on it.
There's no information yet indicating the 2 incidents are related, however, State Police Jasper are asking anyone with information to call the post at 1 (800) 742-7475.
