(BLOOMINGTON) - In another seemingly rare piece of good economic news, Bloomington pharmaceutical company Cook Pharmica has announced an $80 million, 80,000 square foot expansion to their Bloomington facility, which should bring in about 200 new jobs.
Governor Mitch Daniels joined Cook Pharmica in making their announcement this morning. Company officials say the addition will house high-speed filling lines for syringes and vials and 2 other complimentary finishing lines.
Cook Pharmica develops and manufactures pharmaceuticals for pre-clinical through commercial use.
