(BEDFORD) - The Mitchell “puppy mill” story still isn’t over.
Yesterday afternoon, Bedford police say 2 Yorkshire Terrier puppies that were recovered from the alleged puppy mill in Mitchell were stolen from the White River Human Society.
The Bedford Police Department says it was called early yesterday afternoon saying they were missing 2 Yorkshire Terriers, and when officers arrived at the Human Society to take statements, they found that the back door had been left open.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says the dogs are confirmed as pair from the recovery of the dozens of dogs from a residence people are calling a puppy mill on Grissom Avenue in Mitchell.
