(INDIANAPOLIS) - Bedford’s native Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman has announced more than $350,000 in what they call Clean Water Indiana Grants.
A number of counties, including Lawrence, Orange, Monroe, and Martin, have received at least a $2,000 Conservation Marketing Initiative Grants, and Greene, Monroe, and Washington Counties among others have also received a $10,000 Sediment and Nutrient Reduction Grant.
State Soil Conservation Board President Nola Gentry said his department is pleased with the response to their initiative and that all grant recipients showed a true conservation commitment.
