Springville Man Hits Dog, Gets Thrown From Bike

(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was thrown from his motorcycle after a dog walked out in front of his path on Trogdon Lane Saturday afternoon.

57-year-old Donald Swank of Springville was riding his Harley when a dog walked out in front of him, and he couldn't avoid it.

Swank's bike flipped and the man was thrown to the pavement, and the dog was killed.

Swank was taken to Bedford Regional Medical Center reporting pain along his entire body.

The owner of the dog was cited for allowing his animal to run at large.
