(NASHVILLE, IN.) - A man who smoked marijuana before getting in a car wreck that killed his passenger was sentenced Friday to 14 years in prison.
28-year-old Daemen Sampson was driving on Indiana 46 near Nashville in December 2004 when he lost control of his car and crossed into the path of another vehicle.
20-year-old passenger Thomas Morris died in the wreck.
