(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested in connection with multiple burglaries throughout the city.
Bloomington's Sergeant Jeff Canada told WBIW News 25-year-old David Edward Arnette II was taken in on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and fraud.
Canada also said that Arnett has been linked with at least five other burglaries under investigation by Monroe County Sherriff's detectives.
Sherriff's officials say after interviewing Arnett they were able to resolve several other burglaries and thefts in the area. Monroe County's Kenny Barnes told WBIW News Arnett has an accomplice, however details are being withheld pending an interview.
So far, Arnett has been linked to at least 8 burglaries, mostly of pawn shops, and is facing several more counts of burglary and theft, though a final charge list is pending completion of investigation.
Arnett is currently lodged in Monroe County jail.
