(BEDFORD) - A couple in Bedford were arrested early yesterday morning as the result of an apparent physical fight.
Bedford police say they were called to the Mark III hotel on M Street and, when they arrived, found 34-year-old Kevin Kunz of Bloomington standing outside with blood on his face and clothing.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley told WBIW News Kunz showed signed of intoxication and said he had been in a fight with his girlfriend, 37-year-old Regina Armstrong of Bedford.
Police then went to speak with Armstrong and, according to the report, told police Kunz had gotten loud earlier and she asked him to leave, which he did.
She alleges he then returned, grabbed her by the throat, pushed her on the bed, clawed her face, and struck her in the head with his fists and a telephone.
Kunz was arrested for domestic battery, strangulation and public intoxication.
Armstrong was arrested because she had a warrant for violating her parole out of Monroe County.
