(ORLEANS) - Final plans are materializing in Orleans for the 40th annual Dogwood Festival.
The curtain, as it were, goes up April 25th. The week so far is scheduled to have gospel music and other musical acts, storytelling by Patchwork from Indianapolis, and a couple new events include a barbecue cook-off and a softball Tournament.
If you want to participate in the process of developing the festival, get to the Orleans Town Hall on Saturday, March 15th at 9:00am for the next festival committee meeting. The meeting is open to the public.
