(BLOOMINGTON) - A Kentucky man faces attempted murder charges after an incident that occurred near Bloomington.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Department says a man was sleeping at his Ellettsville friend's home when he woke up to a man beating him back in August of 2007.
Officials allege that man was 34-year-old Donald E. Williams of Harlan, Kentucky, and that Williams beat him, drove him out to the middle of nowhere and then dumped him.
Williams allegedly fled back to Kentucky with the woman the victim was staying with, 35-year-old Natalie Fisher.
Last December, Fisher was arrested on a charge of assisting a criminal.
Monday, officers located Williams back in Monroe County, and took him into custody.
