(DUBOIS COUNTY) - Two people were injured in a freak accident on IN-56.
State police say 57-year-old Joseph Schnarr of Washington, Indiana was driving a tractor trailer full of turkeys eastbound on IN-56 when he came around a curve and, reports say, the load in his trailer shifted.
The trailer then tipped over onto the Dodge sedan of William and Laela Ronk, and then the truck continued to roll over off the roadway.
Schnarr was not injured.
20-year-old William Ronk suffered lacerations to his arm and infant Laela Ronk suffered lacerations to her head. Both were taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
William Ronk was cited for driving without financial responsibility.
